The purpose of railroad car pullers, also referred to as shunting devices, is to move railway oars (wagons) without the use of a locomotive or shunter. Each unit is custom designed. Depending on technical assumptions (such as shunting speed, pulled weight, rail system etc.) we apply different solutions. Our equipment meets the requirements of the Transportation Technical Supervision who are the only authority in Poland to approve railroad oar pullers for use.

In 2005 we were awarded the following certificates from the Transportation Technical Supervision (TDT):

Certificate of compliance with PN-EN-ISO 3834-2

Certificate of compliance with PN-EN ISO 9001

We have been manufacturing and supplying railroad car pullers for many years. Initially, until 2004 the equipment was engineered by the Czech design office - Arrow Line and all units designed and manufactured at that time were the intellectual property of our partners. Since 2005 on we have been supplying products of our own design and property.

UT-1 Railroad Car Puller

Towing (shunting) Carriage: The towing carriage moves on the outer side of the track on a guide made of two channel sections. The railroad cars (wagons) are caught and released automatically by gripping arms that catch the rims of car wheels. UT-1 towing carriage is designed for moving groups of railroad cars with the total weight of up top 600 t.

UT-2 Railroad Car Puller

Towing (shunting) Carriage: The towing carriage moves on the outer side of the track on a guide made of two channel sections. The railroad cars (wagons) are caught and released automatically by gripping arms that catch the rims of car wheels. UT-2 towing carriage is designed for moving groups of railroad cars with the total weight of up top 2,500 t.

UT-3 Railroad Car Puller

Towing (shunting) Carriage: The towing carriage is built on 1XTa running gear. The carriage moves directly on the rail track and is designed to push or pull trains/groups of railroad cars. The towing carriage is joined with the car by means of a coupler with stops mounted on the carriage. UT-3 towing carriages are used for moving trains with the total weight of up to 3,000 t.
